Why Choose Wildfires Elite?
Wildfires Elite Endurnce Club offers a range of services that set it apart from other clubs in the Santa Clarita Valley. Whether you're seeking off-season conditioning for track and cross country or aiming to make Wildfires races your primary athletic competitions, we provide an exceptional environment for athletes at all levels. All of our races feature fully automated timing, ensuring accurate results that can be added to an athlete's permanent record for college recruitment purposes.

Weightlifting
One thing that sets our club apart is our focus on functional strength training. Our athletes gain extensive experience with 2" Olympic barbells, learning how to use them to enhance their athletic performance. With mobile barbell stands and weight benches, we can transform any park into a fully equipped training space. This allows Wildfires athletes to perform Olympic lifts, barbell complexes, and burnout workouts—building a strong foundation of functional strength. This approach not only helps prevent injury but also enables athletes to reach higher levels of performance.

Cutting Edge Training
While we honor the value of proven training methods, our club is also committed to exploring and integrating the latest techniques into our programs. Currently, we are emphasizing the Norwegian training methods, which have contributed to multiple world records and gold medals in both track and triathlon. In addition, our athletes gain a deep understanding of contemporary sports psychology principles, equipping them to overcome the mental challenges of both running and life in general.

Complimentary By Design
Athletes have a wide range of goals, and Wildfires Elite is here to support them all. Several small schools in the Santa Clarita Valley lack comprehensive summer conditioning programs, and Wildfires steps in to fill that gap, providing athletes with a dedicated team to train with during the summer and winter months, setting them up for successful CIF seasons. For athletes aiming to compete at the AAU and USATF levels, maintaining training continuity can be a challenge when their clubs are not in session. Wildfires not only bridges that gap, but also offers the functional strength training they do not receive in other programs.

TOP ATHLETES WHO TRAINED UNDER COACH E

MIA BARNETT - 2019 FOOTLOCKER WEST CHAMPION

Mia Barnett has trained with Coach E in 2019. A naturally talented track athlete, Coach E worked with her to increase her aerobic endurance and lactic threshold. Just like in past years, she was able to win the CIF-SS Division 5 Championship in cross country. Added to that honor, Mia was able to run a personal best by over a minute from previous years to win the Footlocker West Region at Mount SAC in 17:02.40. While running for Coach E at Village Christian, Mia posted PR's in the 1600m (4:46.12) and 3200m (10:22.51), as well. Her father attributes this increase in speed to the focused interval work in which Coach E paced Mia at paces she was not accustomed to sustaining in her normal practice routines.
